I fell in love with paper making in 2016 at Penland School of Crafts. I got stuck because I didn't have access to a studio and equipment to keep going. A year and a half with a broken heart was enough. I invested in a hollander beater and built mould and deckle sets, a press and a dryer box. It's a small scale set-up and it does the trick.
It's now available to rent! Get your hands in the pulp and make some paper. Located in Fairview, NC just outside of Asheville.
