Coptic Stitch Bookbinding
In this workshop, we will cover the basics of the coptic stitch binding technique to create a unique hardcover journal that lays flat when open. We will design and glue up book boards that will become the covers for our book then prepare and sew the signature pages into the covers, completing the book.
Each participant will leave with a finished book and the skills to continue the craft on their own. All materials are included in the class materialfee, but you are welcome to bring a favorite paper or two for your covers.
