Madder (Rubia tinctorum) is a perennial root that is known for its shades of vibrant, reds, orange and purples. This plant is best grown in rich soils and should be harvested after its third summer of growth.
These plants are grown with organic soil mix, compost, and compost tea which give them a microbial boost for health and productivity.
Dye plants are grown in 3-4" pots.
