An annual, Japanese Indigo (Persicaria tinctoria) prefers moist, rick soils in full sun to part shade. These plants benefit from extra nitrogen. Plants can be harvested 3-5 times during the growing season. The leaves can be used fresh, fermented or dried for later processing.

These plants are grown with organic soil mix, compost, and compost tea which give them a microbial boost for health and productivity.

Dye plants are grown in 3-4" pots.

Please note that plants can be picked up on Saturday, May 6th between 9am and 5pm or another day by arrangement. Choose your preference below.

All seed and plant sales are final.
