Made from the bark of the Mimosa tree, also known as "collective happiness bark" in traditional Chinese medicine, this basket seeks to delight. Woven on the bias, the stakes and the weavers are one in the same, creating a vessel with geometry and movement. Sealed with encaustic wax, this piece is strong and sturdy, holding its own as a stand alone piece, or beautifully adorned with a vase and dried flowers.
